Need HR persons thoughts on a "Threat" to an employee
An employee (A) filed a complaint about a co-worker (B) that made a statement about "not talking to her". this was followed up with "I had enough respect to ignore you, when if in the streets, I wouldn't have behaved that way." Something of this nature.
This is a long-standing relationship. both employees working here for years. They both know the background of each other. they are in a group chat on "groupme" and have texted through this group to each other as close friends. now this happens.
Employee (A) feels threatened and made up a lot of silly scenarios that employee (B) would do (attack in the garage, etc...)
Employee (B) got a write up.
Shouldn't employee (A) have to acknowledge the accusations that were made on employee (B) and understand the severity of it? Are there any documents anywhere to suggest terminology?
