What am I supposed to do?

This isn't really TTC-related... figured I'd ask here, though.

My pharmacy screwed up my BCP's - they never called my doctor when I asked them to and now my Dr. is on vacation for a week. I am supposed to start a new pill pack tomorrow and I have nothing.

We are not ready to TTC, or else this wouldn't be a prob!

I would go and beg your pharmacy to give you enough pills to last until your doc comes back-- especially if you have been taken the pills for a while-- they know that your refills just ran out.

I have had this happen to me before and the pharmacy has hooked me up.

is your doctor's office totally closed? if there is a nurse or something there, they might be able to get you some samples.

First I would try to see what the pharmacy can do- if you have been getting your BCP from them for a while maybe they will just give you 1 packet.


otherwise, usually Dr's have other dr.s covering for them, I would call and see if you could get in touch with whomever is covering for your regular doc. and see if they will call in a prescription.

Last resort is to go to one of those walk in Dr. clinics and have them write you a prescription

Thanks for the suggestions - I was in a moment of panic earlier!

I begged and begged the pharmacy - even shed a few tears and they refused.

Guess I'll high-tail it up to the office on Monday morning and talk to them.

if you have to take two on Monday it's not a big deal-- and I am sure someone in the office can call the perscription in. It does not need to be your actual dr.
