disney wilderness cabins or port of orleans riverside?
I am planning my first disney trip for April 2014 and am having such a difficult time choosing a resort. My kids will be 1 and 5 at the time of the trip.I like the idea of the cabin because I would be able to cook, but the price is significantly higher. If we choose the port of orleans we can stay an extra day making the trip 6 days five nights. Would the extra day be worth it? I cannot seem to make a decision.

I am not sure what you mean by wilderness cabins? Do you mean the treehosue villas? There is also a wilderness lodge, and some rooms do have kitchens, but they are pretty impossible to book.
I would stay in Port Orleans, mainly b/c you have 1 year old, so it isn't realy necessary to cook for him/her, if that makes sense. You can order groceries (and diapers!) and still eat breakfast in the room. With the price being a lot higher, go for the extra day!

The Ft. Wilderness campground looks fun! I love that you can take the boat to the MK from there. They have the animals and pony rides on site, along with the Chip and Dale campfire, and horse/buggy rides. You will have a full kitchen, and can BBQ etc. I would probably pick that!
