Extended bf mamas....
When did you get your period? Dd is 13 months and my cycle just returned. She still nurses very frequently, so I didn't expect to get it this early.

Mine returned very early with both LOs. Maybe 3 or 4 months? It was very light.

Mine returned about 13 months, but has been very irregular since then. I had. 29 day cycle, followed by a 45 day cycle, and I'm going on 35 days now.

Extended bf mamas....
Mine returned at 6 months. Then it was irregular for a few months but now at 12 months it seems to be back to regular.
ETA I still bf several times a day so I guess I'm just unlucky getting AF back so soon

12 months post partum. i had just started to drop a session and get him onto milk in sippy cups.
13 months isn't too bad!

I got it at 13 months as well. My DS was still nursing frequently but it came regularly after that. 6 months later I was pregnant with #2.

With my first, I got my period back when he was 11 months, got pregnant with my second when he was 13 months, and he BFed till 15 months. With my second, period returned at 9 months, I got pregnant with my third when he was 20 months, and he is still nursing at a little over 22 months.

3mos and I was and am still so mad about it. I actually have my period now and dd is 13mos and still breast fed. I even still pump when I am at work.
I blame hurricane sandy. I had a great supply and tons of frozen milk and then lost most of my frozen stash and couldn't pump bc I didn't have power. So my supply dropped and like a month late af came for the first time

DD was EBF and I got mine back at 6-7 months...I went on to nurse DD until she was 25months.

11 months - DD nurses 3x a day and has been on this schedule for awhile but overall she seemed to cut back how much she was taking in.
