Stroller Question
I'm currently pregnant with my second. When this baby is born, my dd will be almost 3. My DD currently doesn't like her stroller that much. She prefers to walk a lot of times.
I dont think I should get a double stroller because of this and because she'll be almost 3.
Do you think I should get one of those sit and stands? Or just wear the baby while my DD still uses the stroller?
Thoughts? TIA

Re: Stroller Question
My DS was 2.5 when my twins were born. He really wasn't much of a fan of the stroller beforehand either. I just decided to get a double and if he wanted to sit, I would wear the baby. Biggest mistake of my life!! LOL When he sees the babies riding in the stroller, he wants to be in it all the time. I just got a triple stroller because it's SO much easier and I liked the idea of being able to strap them all in. When he used to walk along side the stroller, I would be too nervous that he would run off while we were going on walks around the neighborhood! Of course you know your DD and you know what's best, but I wanted to share my experience!

Stroller Question
Same situation as LadyBug1209. My DD (who is almost four) always hated the stroller until she was around 3. My DS (almost 2) also hated the stroller, but we got a double anyway. Now, they both love to sit in it and makes life so much easier.

Re: Stroller Question
DD will also be almost 3 when DS is born in a couple of weeks. She was never a fan of the stroller but now she is.
i was going back on forth of getting a double cause i have two single strollers as is, so if DH is with me we really wouldnt need to use a double since we both can wach push a stoller. I also got the glider board for my city mini single so DD can ride on that if i am going to be out by myself for a qucik trip
I decdided to get one for the occasions i will be out with both of them for longer trips
I was going to get one used and i was going to stick with a city mini or britax double. Ended up just buying a britax double cause amazon has them on sale for like $300 which is what most people are selling them for used.

Re: Stroller Question
dd was almost 3 when dd2 was born. DD1 hated the stroller from the get go. My dh didn't want to get another stroller b/c of this , so I got a baby carrier. We were out once with dd1 walking and dd 2 in the stroller, id don't think I had the carrier with me and dh had to carry her all over Boston. Nightmare. After that day we ordered the britax b ready. It's been great. I need to get the jump seat for dd2 soon.
I has been a life saver for me being a SAHM. Dd1 can get in and out if she wants. The only thing is it's pretty big.
I do kinda wish I waited a bit and just got a umbrella double now around 5-6 months old. But the Britax has been great
