Teachers please come in!
I am class mom for DC's pre-k class. I wanted to get some feedback or opinions on this from a teachers perspective.
Would you be taken back or offended if the class mom brought in craft supplies? There are some cute age appropriate crafts on oriental trading for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. As a nice gesture I wanted to purchase a few and give them to the teacher but not sure if that would be rude or in poor taste. Do teachers generally have all their crafts/lessons planned out weeks in advance? I am going to ask the teacher first but wanted to see what the general opinion was on here first.

I wouldn't be offended at all. Were you looking to get them for a class party or just for fun? I generally don't have my lessons planned that far out because things always change. I think it would be a nice gesture.

The school does a big Halloween party that I will be helping with ... But this could be for before or after the party. I was also going to do a general fall themed craft and any others that she can do as she wishes. It's a catholic school and I know the teachers salaries aren't all that great and thought it would be nice for her not to have to pay for too much out of pocket. Happy to hear you wouldn't be offended. I don't want the teacher to take it the wrong way or think I am stepping on her toes.

I'd love it! I teach in a Catholic school so usually I have to buy my own supplies. I would love things from Oriental trading!
