If its really cold ill wear them. I even wore trouser socks the other day with flats cause it was cold. It actually looked cute

I wear the stocking type (Hanes Silk Reflections) with my dress shoes and trousers.
When it gets colder, I switch to the thicker trouser sock or regular socks depending upon the type of shoe.
Knitted knee-highs (like a sock) usually don't fit my wide calves.

same!
lol.. I even pull both of my sons socks up to their knees under pants when it' cold out. Keeps them warm!

Same here! I have trouser socks for some shoes...but rarely wear them.

It's a necessary evil for me IF I am wearing pants with pumps. Otherwise, not only are my feet cold, but I feel like my pumps get gross from bare feet.
They aren't pretty or sexy at all- but they do a job!
Luckily I rarely wear pants so it's not normally an issue!

But if you are wearing a pump or even a dressy flat, you can't wear normal socks- right?
I never figured out how to get away with normal socks in those situations,

I had to run out today at lunch and buy a pack of knee highs b/c I'm wearing new heels, with pants, and they were beginning to rub.

Target actually sells black knee highs that have designs on them and some are fishnet like...I will wear these in the winter with heels and always get compliments on them

I wear knee highs every day with flats at work. I walk a lot during the day so if I don't wear them, my shoes get smelly

I wear them with flats and pants once the weather cools off..I cannot go barefoot when it's cold and sometimes dark trouser socks are too thick/look wonky

I wear them with my flats, you cant even tell becuase I get the nude color ones (CVS has a 3 pack for like $3.00)
