You can do a treasure hunt with things from Oriental Trading and they will basically collect everything for their goody bags- stickers, stamps, tattoos, candy, gold coins, etc... I also did sand art projects with the kids and they got to take those home too. I had treasure maps and crayons and markers for the kids too.

thanks nferrandi
would it be weird to give them the goody bag at the beginning -it would have the eyepatch, bandana, etc in it.. we are having it a place that is doing a animal show so we dont need much more entertaintment with a treasure hunt

Disney had a whole thing about this based on Jake and the neverland pirates.. to do a scavenger hunt, boats made of pretzels etc.. let me see if I can find it.
Youtube to the Disney Junior thing

Oh sorry, I did mine at home. I think it would be fine to have a table set up with bandanas, eye patches, tattoos and maybe even mustaches when they come in. Then I would give simple loot bags at the end- candy, coloring books, crayons and call it a day.
