I'm finally joining...I'm due with my second on 5/25...and my dd will be turning one next week!!!!!

As of now I have the same due date (but they might be pushing it back a couple of days) AND my DS is turning 1 in November! It seems there are a few of us in may 2014 that will have babies VERY close in age!

Hi :) can I join you ladies? I'm actually due 6/5 with twins, but my doctor said the farthest they will let me go is 38 weeks.... So, assuming all goes well, I will be a May Mommy too!

hi ladies - just checking in
i had my NT scan last night and everything looks good
i now finally feel like this is real
we have a boys name picked out but need to work on a girls name
the dr actually told us he knows the sex already we were shocked and told him we didnt want to know...but now im kicking myself
i think since he knows so early that its a girl but who knows
anyway, how are you ladies feeling?

A skilled sonographer with state of the art equipment, can tell as early as 12 weeks with either sex. But their margin of error is about 10-20% in either case. Boy and girl parts are both swollen and look pretty much the same but certain angles and shapes vary in a very subtle way. So I wouldn't read too much into the actual sex that they predicted and it's deff a good idea you didn't want to know so early or you'd be obsessing over if the dr was right, as I have been for the past two and a half weeks

I definitly want to find out or but we hate the thought of them just saying it over the phone so we may wait to the anatomy scan or I may ask on the phone if they would be willing to mail me something saying the sex so at least me and my dh can open it together

That is exactly our issue as well! He wants to wait until we can make it special, I may ask them to write it in a envelope.

I would just wait until the NT and then decide whether you want them to write it down or tell u during the appointment. I wouldn't want to hear this over the phone

We are probably going to stay team  , but I have a feeling it's . However, I was WRONG both times with my DD and DS, so I'll probably be wrong again.
I would love so DD could have a sister and DS could have a brother, but I will take whatever comes as long as they're healthy!

So according to my calculations, we should all be in our second trimesters by now... How's everyone feeling???
I will start I'm 16 weeks today and although I still feel queasy and exhausted, especially in the evening but it's miles better than where I was even two weeks ago. I am also incredibly hungry ALL THE TIME and feel like I'm gaining weight like crazy... I can swear I feel this LO already and my midwife confirmed that with second babies this is deff the time to start feeling them, so I should trust my instincts. Tomorrow is my 16 week appointment and hopefully everything looks good and they will be able to confirm the sex.

im at week 14 and feeling good - just veryyy tired
up until now, i thought i was having a boy...but now i think im having another girl
not sure im going to make it staying the second time around
my NT bloodwork came back with great results so i am very relieved.
i havent had much of an appetite so i havent gained anything yet - but i started out 15lbs heavier then with DD1 so i hope to gain 15lbs less this time around.
