What is on your holiday wish list for your child? I feel like everything that he wants is SUPER expensive! I am going to go broke this year! Can anyone give me some more ideas???

So far all he wants is art supplies! I think I am going to get him a nice easel or art desk and lots of markers, paints, papers, etc to go with it. He's never been a big toy kid so I never know what to get him!!

Liz, we were just commenting on this today at work imagine asking our parents for a 300 dollar iPad or 200 dollar iPod. Things have gotten crazy with holiday spending. Even that leap pad is 150.

My kids are getting some joint gifts this year as their desires are much more expensive than in years past.

Re: 5 year old boys
This is what I bought so far:
Electronic Cash Register V-Tech Digi Camera Crayola Dry Erase Glow-Light board Spy-Tech Night Vision Goggles Kiddie Headphones Play BBq set - I think hes a bit old for it, but I know he will love it.
I'm also thinking of getting a few board games such as Candyland, Operation & BedBugs.

I have no clue since my DS got a ton of crap for his birthday. I think Im going to just buy him books and dvds. And some TNMT figures
He did get the TMNT Lair and he loves it. So if anyones DS is into TMNT, that can be a good gift.

Re: 5 year old boys
DH and I always wait till the last minute because we know everyone else is going to be getting him his big toys.
We usually take him to walk around TRU the week before Christmas and then run back and get some of the things he has pointed out (within reason).
So far he's really only asked for Lego Chima stuff and WWII soldiers and tanks.
His one poppy already got the Lego stuff.
