Those with or have been tested for Celiac pleas come in
My BFF went through this - she has Celiac and lives pain-free .... so long as she stays away from the foods she shouldn't eat. If she has a bad day and goes gluten and anticeliac crazy, she has to leave work early... But for the most part she's fine. She had lost a ton of weight before and right after being diagnosed (like 20 pounds UNDER weight) and with her meds and all she's gained it all (and some) back. Now she's working with a nutritionist to get her weight back down and make sure she's getting enough protein. Her big thing is no gluten, high protein, so she eats a lot of eggs, grilled chicken, salad, veggies, etc.

Re: Those with or have been tested for Celiac pleas come in
I have a HORRIBLE stomach!!! I can get sick on water!!! I also have IBS, GERD, Gastritis. I am lactose intolerant on top of all of that. I don't eat fried foods. I went gluten free for 3 weeks and I was still having issues.. I didn't want to go through an endoscopy. My dr said for me to try no gluten for 2 weeks. I went 3 and I was still having issues... Ended up that I have delayed gastric emptying...

I was in the same boat as you and opted to try to change my lifestyle instead of going for tons of tests/medicine. I've pretty recently gone Paleo and have been eating clean. It completely changed my life - i've seen at least a 95% improvement. I used to complain every single day, horrible bloating, cramping, it was so uncomfortable. Just something for you to think about.

Re: Those with or have been tested for Celiac pleas come in
When my husband was tested for Celiac and blood came back positive I forgot the percentage but blood test was very rarerly wrong. He did do endoscopoy which confirmed his diagnosis. You could probably just try gluten free for a month and see how you are feeling. I know it can take a few weeks for body to clear all traces.

Re: Those with or have been tested for Celiac pleas come in
I had the same symptoms. I went for an endoscopy but it turned up that I was not Celiac. My doctor suggested that I might be gluten intollerent (there is no test for that) and told me to go gluten free for 2 weeks and see how I felt. I went GF and within a week I noticed a difference. By 2 weeks a bigger difference, by a month I was feeling much better. I'm now 100% gluten free and have no symptoms unless I accidentally get glutened.
