Frightened of the dentist
Anyone else's child frightened by the dentist? If so any thought on how to get treatments done with a child who won't calm down. They are talking sedation and I am saying no way. Also, if you know of a dentist who deals with this please advise. Thanks!

where are you located? We go to Dr. Henry Maccaro and my kids are anything BUT afraid of him. they actually were excited when I told them they were going. My dd even got dressed up!
he is located in Williston Park. Let me know if you want his info. He is amazing with Kids.

Frightened of the dentist
We go to a dentist in Ronkonkoma and same...kids get excited to go.
They watch movies, play video games (while getting their work done), get to choose cool sunglasses for the exam light, lip balms, scented gloves for the nurse to wear...an array of flavored teeth cleaner and at the end they know they get to go in the "treasure chest" room.

please tell me this is dr k and dr b.s office. This is our next step actually if so.
