Sale on clothes
I had lost a lot of weight and need new clothes specially for a trip at the end of January. Jean, jackets, bar clothes etc etc
When is the best time for sale on clothes? black friday? beginning of December or after xmas/ beginning of the year?. I have to go to do actual store (no online shopping) because I dont know what size I am now and I feel now i can try new styles I didnt feel comfortable before

For myself, I love going after the holidays. I usually get at least a few giftcards I can use AND stuff is usually on clearance.

Feb is the best time. Retailers try to get rid of everything since most ppl returned stuff from Christmas

Exactly. Plus they are already putting out Spring and Summer stuff at that point  so they are looking to clear out the winter stuff.
ETA- just saw your trip is at the end of January. Guess this wouldn't help you much!
I'd avoid all stores on Black Friday. IMO the deals aren't all that great anyway.
Can you go after Christmas?

I'd go right after the new year. Maybe not the first few days since there will be a lot of returns and such, but they should have some good sales then.

I was thinking after xmas too.. I need so much (even new bras as now mine are too big) and want to make sure I get the most for my $$$

Sale on clothes
There are some great sales right now. I would avoid the stores on Black Friday especially if you need time to try things on.

Also if you are an early riser, I feel you can get in and out and avoid the crowds.
Or go at odd hours during the week.
