Question about Christmas presents for teachers at school.
My son is at a special Pre-School which he receives services at. This is his first year and I want to get his teachers something. Last year I got his teachers gift cards but there was only one teacher and an assistant. This year he has two teachers, one assistant, and two therapist for OT/PT. That's a lot of presents. Not sure how much I should give each one if I stick to gift cards. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

Re: Question about Christmas presents for teachers at school.
I would probably give the ones who spend the most time with him a little more (usually the teacher).
$20-$25 is okay IMO.
Everyone else you can do a smaller token gift like $10.00.
I like the idea of gift cards. This is probably what we will do this year too. (I'm thinking Starbucks or Target).

Re: Question about Christmas presents for teachers at school.
Last year we had a teacher, TA, aide, PT, OT, Speech, two bus drivers, two matrons, and social worker. i kept up with the "jones" and it was crazy how much i spent. I am not doing it this year. I am baking cookies and that is it. I am buying a house and simply cannot afford it.

Question about Christmas presents for teachers at school.
Buying gifts is crazy. I have a teacher, 6 aides, 2 speech and OT, a consultant, a bus driver and matron. That is not including the art, music, PE and library teachers.
What I did last year for the aides is that I catered a breakfast, just bagels, fruit platter, spreads and had it delivered to the classroom. They really liked that. The teacher and consultant get a $50 gift card and the rest get $10 target gift cards. It's crazy.

As someone who works at a therapeutic preschool, a card and a drawing from your child is just as appreciated as any monetary gift. We just like to know that our hard work is recognized.

Oh, I like the idea of doing a breakfast for all!

Re: Question about Christmas presents for teachers at school.
Wow! You guys have a lot of people to buy for. Love the idea one of you said of just a card made by my son. I will do that for the PT/OT therapist. I will still probably get a $10 gift card for each though. So I'm thinking $25 GC for each teacher, $15 for aide, $10 each for therapist. I think that will be good.
Thanks Everyone!!
