I go every 4-5 weeks for a Brazilian. I love European Wax Center. I don't live in Nassau but they have a lot of locations.

I went to european wax center in massapequa - I saw Mackenzie who is great, super fast and relatively painless. now I'm just over two weeks post partum and I can't wait to be able to go back.

I am 25w and just did a brazilian yesterday at European wax center. It was not bad at all and the tech maneuvered me so that I didnt need to be on my belly. It took a little longer but so worth it.

Re: hairy monster TMI
I'm glad you posted this..I sliced myself yesterday trying to blind shave. Was thinking about waxing but I've never done it before - bad idea to do for the first time while preggo or will I be ok?

Re: hairy monster TMI
I have a high pain tolerance and got a full bikini wax a few months ago. It was almost a Brazilian but not fully. I thought it hurt like hell and I was bleeding a little and got a lot of in grown hairs after. I even prepped my skin for two weeks before hand. I went to a European wax center. She missed spots and I had to shave after. I hear all you ladies say it doesn't hurt. I don't think I can do it ever again. At least not a full one. I'll stick to shaving.

I got my first wax at about 16 weeks preggo and that one hurt SO much, but the woman convinced me that it would get better if I stuck with it. I found that to be true. It was much less painful for the subsequent waxes. And I guess at the end of the day, it is a wax, not a massage, so it doesn't feel good, but I've found it to be worth the 15 minutes or so it takes to get it done.

Re: hairy monster TMI
I've never gotten a bikini or brazilian. I just do what i can with an electric clipper and then clrean up with a razor pretty much blindly. Last pregnancy i had hubby help me towards the end bc i couldn't see what I was doing...he didn't mind. he thought it was pretty funny actually.
