Need rec for MD for a 9 yr old with severe behavior problems
Current doc just keeps upping his dose of Focalin. Looking for a doc who will look at the whole picture and not just keep drugging. And if meds ARE necessary, will make appropriate adjustments...adding/reducing, etc. as necessary.
In Nassau, if possible.

I just sent in the paperwork for the Division of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics @ Cohens.
From my research, I hear they are very good.
There's a thread about them with contact info of doctors I started several months ago (I will bump it for you).
I'm also pretty sure at least one mom on here DC went through the ADD/ADHD program.
I heard it's intense though (like time commitment intense) and very much focused on parent training.
