RE's
I am in the process of choosing an RE I have heard quite a bit about RMA from here the only downside is that I live in eastern Suffolk. I would be willing to travel the 45minutes to their garden city location but I noticed on their website that, that location is closed on weekends. Does this mean that I would need to travel out to manhatten if my testing or treatment happens to fall on a weekend? Also if you belong to that practice which doctor do you see and recommend? Also, I came across another doctor from east coast fertility his name is Dr. Joseph Pena, I would appreciate reviews for him and that practice as well. Thanks ladies!

On weekends, you would need to go into the city unfortunately. I saw dr mukherjee, but I think any of them are a good choice. When you are being monitored, you will most likely see all of them if you go into manhattan.

Yes that's the drawback of this place but I'm still sticking with it once I begin IVF. All weekend monitoring as well as retrievals and transfers are in the Manhattan office. My main dr of RMA is in white plains so I've had to travel up there a few times but I don't mind if it gets me what we want at the end. Plus I see such a. Difference In Quality of care between my old practice and this one ;)

Re: RE's
Dr Pena is my Dr. I think he is amazing! I feel like I'm monitored very closely. He is very good at responding to emails and phone calls regarding any of my crazy questions (lol) and he called me on Friday himself to congratulate me on my beta results!
I wish you the best of luck! If you have any questions message me! :)

I used Dr. Pena over five years ago, and I had success with him. He is very smart and definitely was always there when you needed him. Good luck!

Re: RE's
I used Dr. Pena. We have had some communication issues along the way, but he is brilliant. I got pregnant very quickly.
ETA: I am pretty sure they don't do weekend monitoring in their Patchogue office. I think you would have to go to Melville.

I used RMA in the city. I live in western Suffolk on the border of Nassau but at the time I worked in the city. On weekends and for all procedures you would have to go to the city. I used dr Mukherjee and loved him!!!!

Re: RE's
Thanks again ladies. For those of you who said that you saw Dr. Pena if you don't mind me asking did you have IVF or IUI with him? My route will most likely be IUI. I just want to know what his success rate is like for IUI.
