What are you getting your Grandma (or elderly mother) for Christmas?
My Grandma is 80 and likes new 'gadgets'. Trying to think of something fun to get her.

I got my parents tickets to the Doo Wop Show at the Beacon Theatre in June.

Does she have a digital picture frame with pics of the grandkids? Especially one of the ones that can be updated remotely. Some of them pull pics off of an on-line site, so you can update pics for her.

King sized electric blanket. Hope she can work it, she's not into gadgets and doesn't even have a cell phone.

If she likes gadgets you could get her an electronic vacuum (forgot the name). My aunt bought my grandma one last Christmas and she gets a kick out of it!

My MIL would LOVE this! Do you have a specific one or brand? I'm definitely going to look into this.

Re: What are you getting your Grandma (or elderly mother) for Christmas?
We recently bought my 87 yr old MIL a kindle and she loves it. She pays card games on it and reads.
My grandma passed away last year but I always made a calendar with family pics. She loved music too so one year we got her a cd player for her kitchen.

I don't personally have one (I gave my mom one with a memory stick that I update once in a while), but this one has a lot of good reviews on Amazon.

Here is the link to Amazon's wireless picture frames: Wireless picture frames
ETA: Pandigital went out of business, so I would advise against getting one of their frames.
