I know I may be in the minority here but I honestly don't believe the story. I do know for a fact that when my daughter was granted a wish from the make a wish foundation they raved about how nice justin bieber was. How he gave up so much of his time for wish kids. He never ever turned them down and would make sure he spent time with each kid. Say what you want but I honestly think he isn't as bad as the news is making him out to be. I don't know he might be a punk kid but he is still just a kid with way too much money and no real parenting.
I agree. I don't believe half of what is said about him. He does a lot of good for many organizations and has even hand delivered toys for an entire school to children
He recently bought pizza for hundreds of fans who ere waiting outside his hotel to try and catch a glimpse of him. He even went on the balcony and sang one song.
When celebrities are normal/good people the media has to make stiff ip and bash the, til they turn into what Britney was, or Miley currently is and then they bash them some more.

These instances just sound like planned publicity stints to make himself look good. And EVERY celebrity does it. It seems like he has good PR people.
Realistically, the kid shot to fame at a very young age, he has tons of money, is know worldwide, and girls everywhere adore him..............I would bet my life he's VERY likely an intolerable, arrogant, self absorbed douche. Most very famous, very rich people are. Goes with the territory. I highly, HIGHLY doubt he's a really good, down to earth, sweet guy.

I'm not sure how to copy and paste the text from Hofstra26 so I'm just going to respond to it separately.
NOT every celebrity gives up their time for make a wish. They do give money, or tickets to their show with back stage passes but bieber was the only one MAW said that did it over and over again. He never said no, or was to busy. he made time for each child not just to sign an autograph or take a pic he actually spoke to them made them laugh. It's not a publicity stunt, he is a nice guy. I'm sure if the cameras were around any if us they would catch some stuff that looked questionable.
My daughter did not choose to meet him as her wish so I cannot say that I met him, but I know that the ppl from MAW spoke very highly of him. As horrible as it sounds but there are a lot of celebrities that tell them no to actually meeting the kids.

Doing great things for sick kids is awesome, but if he did call a fan a beached whale it still makes him an ass. If it's true then shame on him for being that way. If it's not then shame on her for wanting her 15 minutes. I could totally see this as being true though.

I don't want to argue, if you think he's a good guy that's fine.
But realize, being a celebrity is all about marketing and packaging. He has an image to sell. I don't doubt that he loves the Make A Wish foundation and spending time with the kids BUT that aside, at these charitable events you will always see the BEST possible Bieber possible. He HAS to make himself look good, he has an image to uphold. You're seeing his PUBLIC persona, not the REAL him.
When you hear instances of a celebrity, such as him, saying inappropriate things or doing dumb shit that is likely more representative of who they really are as opposed to the fake public persona they present via PR and marketing genius.
Just my two cents.
Call me a pessimist but I just don't put too much stock in celebrities. While there are a few good apples out there I think in general, most of them are very much self centered, arrogant, egomaniacs. I think it's hard NOT to be when you're revered the world over and rich as hell.
