Effen texters
I have thought about you ladies all day wanting to vent.
I don't know who else was on the Northern State this morning, but did you see all the accidents? Cars into trees and the walls of underpasses?
Anyway, the whole way to work, I'm passing by some stupid biotch who was literally looking down at her IPhone the entire time texting away like she was having a regular verbal conversation in real life.
I couldn't take it anymore and beeped at her. She looked over and I pointed at her and an upcoming accident and mouthed WTF is WRONG with her.
I lost her after that but I seriously don't know WTF is wrong with some people.
I also work with people with brain injury for a living, many of which can be prevented, so this infuriates me even more.
Be safe out there everyone!!!!! And thanks for letting me vent.

I was on Northern State this morning and couldn't believe how many accidents there were! (Did you see the red car all the way up the hill, into the woods, right by the wall of the underpass?!?!?) Texting while driving on a GOOD day is insane! I just don't get some people!

I got on at the Wantagh heading west and it seemed eastbound was accident after accident. It was still icier the further towards Queens we went though.
I remember the red Jeep in the wall and the gray truck and several other cars off into the trees on the eastbound side.
And probably at least 5 or 6 other minor fender benders.
Her image has stayed with me all day though and it just makes me so angry.

I was on the SSP for about an hour this morning when it usually takes me 10 mins. There were at least 5 accidents; it was insane! IDK what is wrong with people, especially grown adults who should know better than to text and drive! It makes me insane b/c I was hit by a texter.

I was watching the news this morning, and they showed shots of NSP. There were cars randomly scattered everywhere! Lot of accidents this morning

OMG I couldn't believe the accidents going Eastbound. Some chic was swaying towards my lane and I honked at her and went all nuts and this chic is freaking writing while shes driving!! she had a pen and paper on the steering wheel writing. People are insane!!

I call the non emergency police # which I have saved in my hands free to report erratic or dangerous drivers.
I know it seems extreme but they need to get caught before they kill someone.
A few months ago there was a guy going in and out of the HOV over the lines doing at least 80 while talking on his phone up to his ear. I called the police gave them his info and saw him pulled over about 15 exits later. I was so thrilled!

I was on the same route, and saw that car. I was trying to figure out how the hell he managed to get up there. So many accidents heading east bound yesterday!

In Suffolk 852-cops. If you call Suffolk on a road that is patrolled by another department they will transfer you.

Good! I can't stand when I see people driving like this and infuriates me even more to see people texting! I don't understand how it goes through a persons mind to text when the roads are so dangerous. NSP and SSP are the worst!
