"Regular" sized cake mix?

Ok...I always make the knock you naked brownies but I am having a problem this year trying to find, what I call, regular sized cake mix. All the German Chocolate cake mixes are 15 oz and not the 18.5 that the recipe requires. i made them last year and those missing 3.5 ounces made a differece. I tried Shop and Shop, shoprite and target. Any other suggestions?

I just made these today.
Bought the Duncan Heinz at Stop and Shop and I just looked...it's 16.5 ounces
This is my first time making them , but it seemed ok to me.

Do you have a food scale? I would just buy two boxes of the mix and then weigh out the extra ounces you need from the 2nd box. Chat Icon
