Barbie Dream House Nightmare! POS
I mean OMG, putting this thing together was a nightmare! The directions are terrible, so small and hard to read! I felt like I needed an engineering degree to put this together. It is so not stable and at this point, I am thinking of gluing it together!

Re: Barbie Dream House Nightmare! POS
Mine came broken and toys r us didn't have any more so I had to put it all together for under the tree and in a few days, I get to do it all over again!!
What did you think of the directions that were taped on mocking all the poor parents who had to go thru that?

We thought ours was too short too but I actually wasn't. Apparently there was a problem with the 2013 version that the elevator isn't aligned correctly and it needs to be snapped back in. We googled it Bc we spent an hour trying to figure out what was wrong. Then once you re snap the elevator in and then put the roof on it works perfect.

Ours is put together correctly with all of the correct pieces and it's still a POS. We told MIL not to buy it for DD b/c we didn't want it in the house etc. She got it anyway. The fireplace button needs to be pushed SO HARD and needs to have support from the back as well in order to work so DD can't even do it herself. ANNOYING!!

I guess we got a good one. Ours is very stable and DH assembled in about 1.5 hour with my oldest. Youngest dd has been playing with it nonstop. So sorry you all are having a rough go with it.
