Re: Questions for those who rent their home out - Please come in!
Not sure where you live, but we had to get a rental permit to rent our condo. It was the town of Islip. We were required by the condo to get the permit. Not sure why you would need one for a single family residence.

Mean either. We live in the town of Babylon. I will contact my real estate lawyer friend I guess to find out.

Questions for those who rent their home out - Please come in!
It differs by community. Some towns require permits, others do not. Some incorporated villages do not require them, even though the towns they are located within do require them. Check with your town or village administration to be certain.

We did not need any type of permit. Good luck!
