PLEASE HELP -- East Nassau/West Suffolk Communion Location
I'm behind the 8-ball as our church just gave us our date and it appears everything is booked. I'M SO UPSET
Please recommend a location for 50-60 people (private room or "closed for party") in Eastern Nassau/Western Suffolk?
If you have pricing info, I would really appreciate it -- Thanks in advance!!!
Also, please provide your opinion on the following. I had my heart set on Capt Bills for a day event. They are booked during the day, but have the room available at 7:30pm that night. Our communion is at 1pm. I think 7:30 is too late for the party. Would you go with the later time to have the location you wanted? I think the kids (I have b/g twins) will be exhausted (and disheveled) by that time. Please advise.

IMO, I would not take the 7:30 time slot at Captain Bills. I think its too late for a communion party and like you said, your children, the reason for the celebration, may be tired from the long, exhausting day. Something immediately after the communion, or shortly thereafter would work better.
As for places:
Absolutely Mario -- private room right off Rt. 110 in Farmingdale -- great food!
Library Cafe -- private upstairs on corner of Main Street and Hempstead Tpke in Farmingdale

I would not do the party at 7:30. If you are set on that location I would try a totally different day.
