Hardwire or plug in Chandelier
Can someone explain the the difference? Not sure what to buy...

Hardwire or plug in Chandelier
It's for the dining room, so I assume hardwire. I've never heard of a plug in - would that be used for outside?

A plug in has a cord/chain that you would have to swag from the chandelier down the wall to an outlet. The hardwire is just that, its hardwired into the electrical through the ceiling and doesnt need to be plugged into an outlet.
