What do you wear to Zumba?
I am consider taking a Zumba class through an adult ed program ( I am hoping this mans I wont' be the old lady in the group!)
I own no exercise clothes. My only sneakers are Keds & Skechers bikers.
So, since I need new things, I want to shop with Zumba in mind? Any suggestions?
Pants, shorts, leggings? I'm fat, so I am thinking of open of those looser tank tops, and off course a sports bra--but the lower half is a challenge.
I have to buy new sneakers, but since I have a wide foot options are limited, so I think I am going to order New Balance cross trainers.

What do you wear to Zumba?
I usually wear capri yoga pants and a t-shirt. I do get warm but, I find the capris more comfy than wearing shorts.
I did it through adult ed in my town and loved it - it was a mix of people younger and older than me.

Thank you-I didn't even know what "regular exercise clothes" are anymore.
wear whatever YOU are comfortable in. Some people hate pants others can't work out in shorts or capris. Some need fitted clothes others need looser clothes.
Its a personal preference.

Thanks you! Those look great. I was looking for something moisture wicking but not clingy.
unfortunately, my class was cancelled due to low enrollment. 
I have not yet been able to find something else that fits my schedule, but I hope to do some sort of exercise at some point , so I will look into the tanks!

What do you wear to Zumba?
Make sure you have a really good supportive sport bra. There is a lot of jumping and moving and shaking in Zumba and you don't want to feel self conscious because your boobs are flopping around too much... Also you should invest in a good pair of sneakers that are designed for lateral movements and pivoting - your knees and ankles will take a beating in sneakers that aren't supportive or designed for side to side and pivoting movement.

Thank you! I think I found a new class I can attend. I have ordered these shoes
I hope they fit. It is so hard to find shoes that fit my weird feet.
I am definitely getting a new sports bra. there was a thread here recently that was very helpful. I hate to bounce.
