TMI - ovulation symptoms
I have noticed for quite a while (especially during a natural cycle) that I get constipated during my "fertile days" and then it's the complete opposite right after I ovulate.
This is my first natural cycle in a while and it happened again. I went back into my old notes and noticed this was a frequent thing. Sometimes while medicated to, but not with using the trigger.
This month, it was same old. EWCM with trouble going. Opks were getting close to positive. Monday morning still not there but was crampy all day. So Monday night I took another on a whim and it was positive. So we BD. Figured the usual you O btwn 12-48 hrs after. Tuesday morning EWCM was gone and so was the constipation! I think I Oed within that 12 hr mark. Good thing we BD.
Anyone notice this? Any science behind it? I was looking online and couldn't find much.

TMI - ovulation symptoms
I think it has to do with hormone levels. FSH on the increase and increase. Progesterone on the increase.

Re: TMI - ovulation symptoms
When you say constipation do you mean more like "have to go" pains that don't end up in you actually going?
I can always feel when I'm about to ovulate and I've always been right when I find out what side my follies are on. It feels like a tightness in my side that is pulling to the point where it will burst. At the same time, it sometimes feels like "poop pains" to a point. I also sometimes feel it in my back. If that makes sense

TMI - ovulation symptoms
This has to do with the changing hormone levels. Its normal... Just like being Constipated during pregnancy.

Yes it's like I gotta go and it's impossible lol
I figured its hormone based but I cannot believe how the second I ovulate, it's the complete opposite. Those hormones are something
