Can someone please help with this?

Hi, teachers! This is a bit of a strange question, I guess, but I am trying to find out when after the English and math assessment tests in the spring my 3rd grader would receive the results of the test?

I am trying to plan a vacation and pull him out of school for a few days. So far my dates are set on the Monday after the Friday the last test will be taken. Would that be a good week or should I wait because they will release results and go over tests then?

I hope this makes sense. This is the first year my kid will be taking any kind of serious test like that so I am clueless and nervous! I appreciate any info you can give me!

Not sure if it is different on the island, but in NYC cut scores come at the end of June and final scores come end of summer.

No. Go on with your trip. They rarely go over the tests.

Ny state tests are never gone over with kids. They're confidential and considered "secure" in NYC scores are released over the summer via the aris parent portal.

Gone over? I'm a 3rd grade teacher who gets her students results in September!!!! Usually they are sent overt he summer- this year they sent them out later- I think due to outlash over scores. These tests mean nothing - only use is for APPR- kids don't learn from them we don't go over them-
