Does anyone know where I can find the NYC regulation about videotaping students?

I don't know where you'd find the info but we taped kids often in my old school mostly because of a poetry program where the kids competed via teleconference. That organization used a "passive permission" slip which meant that the parents only needed to send it back if they did NOT want their child taped.

My school also did a general release form which was sent home and returned at the start of the year, and we kept them on file. When I did my NYS certification video I sent home a permission slip just for that one event.

I am pretty sure any regulation will say that you need some kind of release.
