Starting a 60 day juice fast, Anyone else on a fast?

Finally decided to start a juice fast!! I've been wanting to for a while. Figured I'd post my updates so I have someone to "answer to" haha

anyone on a fast as well?

I'm still going to enjoy my coffee/diet pepsi for the caffeine, but everything else will be water and juice.

I'm drinking a banana/strawberry juice now that I just made with my nutribullet.

60 days on ONLY juices? If so that's a LONG time. Did you check with a doctor?

Yes, I did, plus I'm a nurse :)

Many people have down longer and it has great health benefits believe it or not. I have spinach and kale and many many fruits per day so the calorie intake is actually pretty high when you add it all up.

Usually people start with a week long or a ten day juice fast, and stick to greens and vegetable juices because fruit juices still have a lot of sugar in them.

The point of these juice fasts are typically to detox, so having Diet Pepsi - which is a really toxic beverage for your body - along with a juice fast IMO is counter productive.

Even coffee, but I know people who will use organic coffee and coffee enemas along with their juice fasts (and I personally drink coffee when doing a juice fast)

What plan are you following? Are you doing this under medical guidance?

60 days is a long time, I did a three day and that was hard! I would agree with a pp if you are fasting / doing a cleanse I would also cut out diet Pepsi and coffee. Diet soda is HORRIBLE for your health. Kind of defeats the purpose.
