Oh yes I can and do it for my friends too. It took me some time and practice but now I can do it so far. I watched youtube videos over and over. I bought revlon lashes glue and buy the lashes in bulk. I apply them with my tweezers. They look great!

I can sometimes. There have been times when I end up wasting a pair because I put too much glue

Where can you get them in bulk?

You meant eyelashes, right?

I understand that you need "stage makeup" for these events, so you features stand out at a distance (I wore red lipstick as a tap dancing 4 year old), but why do 5 year olds need falsies? They usually have such gorgeous long lashes.

I can't imagine getting a 5 year old to sit still for that. Maybe you can get some tips from watching Toddlers & Tiaras? Chat Icon

To answer the original question, I can get them on, but they don't stay. I have since learned what I might have been doing wrong, but I am not sure I really care anymore.

Okay, another question.

Do you put on a full strip, individuals or do you cut a strip in half?

Re: False Lashes

I used to put individuals on and it was very difficult, they looked funny and they fell a lot. I have tried a couple of times with full strips and is so much easier. They look natural and my only problem is sometimes getting glue on my eyelid, but the make up covers it.

Re: False Lashes

I do them once in a while, for some parties or concerts... I put them on when I'm putting my make up on and take them off that night - if I'm not to tired Chat Icon

I usually do the full strip. I place it close to my eye to make sure it fits. If it's too long, I cut a little off the ends. I don't think you would need to cut them in half, that would take off a lot of the lashes. First place the full strip close to your lash line and see how far off it is from the end of your eye. I like it a little off but its too far off, I cut it to where I want it.

I also only wear them on occasions or an evening out with friends. I find that if I wear them too often, they hurt my real lashes. (the glue)

Do you glue to the skin or the lashes? I bought a set and the directions were unclear.

Glue them on the lash line of the false lashes. I apply two thin coats and hold it down for a little bit to make sure it sticks well.
