Question for the wheat eliminators/low carb eaters
What carbs, if any, do you eat? I am on day four of eliminating processed food and carbs. I am drinking one glass of OJ in the morning and some fruit if I want it.
I've lost 3 lbs and I haven't been hungry, but I don't have much energy. I am having trouble running my usual distance/pace.
What are the good carbs to eat?

Question for the wheat eliminators/low carb eaters
Instead of increasing carbs, try increasing protein. But if you feel you need them, potatoes are great - high in potassium, I like brown and wild rices, and that's about it.. if I really want pasta, I get the gluten free pastas.

Eat the WHOLE grain which are processed less: brown rice, barley, steel cut oats, bulghar.

We eat sweet potatoes & brown rice. If you want to get more energy check out The Bullet Proof diet and the bullet proof coffee/MCT Oil.

Question for the wheat eliminators/low carb eaters
I eat quinoa, buckwheat, oats, sweet potatoes and squash regularly. Occasionally I eat white potatoes, rice, gluten free breads and gluten free pasta. I try to avoid ALL white carbohydrate- the have a higher glycemic index and are lower in nutrients then alternative carbohydrate sources.
