X Post in FHF - Frozen Lunches
In an otherwise healthy, low sodium diet, how good/bad is it if a person eats a frozen entree (smart ones, lean cuisine, etc) for lunch daily (5 days per week - not weekends)
Thanks in advance!! Just wondering if I'm setting myself up for a lifetime of high blood pressure down the road!

Re: X Post in FHF - Frozen Lunches
Me, personally? I would not eat frozen lunches for 5 days. I would do at the most two, like Monday and Thursday. There are so many crap ingredients in those things and it's really not beneficial in the long run.
I think limited them down to 2 days a week is better. You can always bring in a salad, homemade soup (cans have all the same crap as the frozen), wraps, sandwiches, hummus & veggies, fruit salad, leftovers from dinner (make a little more so you can bring it the next day). You can do smoothies with a blender, with veggies and fruit, or protein powder and fruit. Cereal is another option.
I think there are better choices out there for lunch than the frozen entrees. I use to love Lean Pockets, one day I looked at the ingredients and it had about 15 or more. I decided this isn't worth it.
