Response to Clomid?
I had to take Clomid 3 years ago when I conceived DD. I didn't have any response for over a week, and then at my final check before calling it a failure and upping my dose, I had one follie at 20.5. IUI the next day, and conceived my DD.
Now, trying for #2, I just went in this morning for my follie check after my first cycle of Clomid. I had 3 follies on one side (a 10, an 11, and a 13 mm) and none on the other. Is that good? Does one usually take over and become dominant, or am I going to have multiple eggs? When do you think they'll mature? My next check isn't until Thursday.
I have no experience with this - last time, they told me my ovaries were empty and then BAM! 3 days later we were doing the IUI.

Response to Clomid?
When I took clomid (100mg) for my last iui, I had 3 mature follicles, don't remember the size, but after the iui my dr. Did a Sono to see if I had ovulated yet and said I released only one of the eggs. I ended up getting pregnant that cycle but miscarried at 9 weeks, not saying that one has to do with the other at all.
That being said, it seems that you have a great chance this cycle! And don't be terrified that you will have triplets. Good luck!!

Re: Response to Clomid?
There's really no way to tell. You could have 1, 2 or 3 follies this month. They won't all necessarily have a mature egg. I'm assuming you'll trigger? You will have a better idea after your next monitoring.

Re: Response to Clomid?
They usually mature about 1-2 mm a day and a lead follicle would be over 20 mm for ovulation. You never know what might happen in the next few days!

Re: Response to Clomid?
Ok, thank you! I've done this all before, but got so lucky and had to spend so little time with monitoring/medications that I feel like a total newbie again.
