Baby shower dress
I have a baby shower to go to soon. It's on DHs side and they get pretty dressy even for showers. I found a nice dress to wear and it comes in black or a pale pink. Is black too much to wear to a baby shower? It's not a cocktail dress at all. It's a nice long sleeve button down type dress (don't know how to post a pic from my ipad) I want to order it but not sure what color to get. The black would be easier for in terms of shoes.

Baby shower dress
With that style of a dress, I think it sounds fine. Plus, black is more versatile so you'll get more use out of it in the future.

I think black is fine and you can always punch it up with brighter accessories -- depending on the style of dress, a fun belt or statement necklace, maybe.

Thank you ladies. I have an awesome statement necklace that I want to wear with it also. It would match the pale pink too.
