Summer infant video monitors - adding camera
Has anyone added a new camera to an existing video monitor system? Right now I have one monitor and one camera but I want to add a new camera for baby #2.
Has anyone had any trouble with compatability? I have a monitor from 2012 and the model has changed a bit.

Had a monitor from 2010 (Summer Slim and Secure) and intended on adding just the camera but bought an entire set (camera + handheld monitor) before DS was born in 5/13. I'm so glad I did, I like having two cameras and two monitors, having two cameras and just one monitor was a little frustrating when DS was a newborn because it would switch back and forth every 30 seconds and a lot happens with a newborn in 30 seconds. I'm kind of a nerd about watching my kids on camera  but, I think to answer your question, there were no problems in setting up the extra equipment!

This is me word for word, I hasn't figured it out yet but I know hubby is looking for second camera on Ebay...let you know if I gave any luck

They have an extra camera on zulilly today. Not sure if it would be compatible with your current system.

I have 4 cameras for my slim & secure (extras for playroom, etc). I bought 2 new & 2 used. They all work with my hand held. Just make sure the model number is compatible with the one you have. I will say 1 of the used ones gives me a too dark picture at night but I keep that one in the playroom where I dont need it at night.

I had to watch ebay for a while to find an extra camera since mine was from 2011. I found it and it works great.

I am selling 3 cameras from my Summer Infant Baby touch model 02000. The parent unit broke and was on back order until February but I couldn't wait that long so I bought a new system. If anyone is interested. $45 each
