She is 15 months, not pierced....she can get them done when she's old enough to ask and know the responsibility of having them

Ditto,DD is 3.5 years old and it's up to her one day if she wants them pierced.

My girls are five and I really didn't want to do it, but hubby did. So, around nine months we did it. Now the girls hate it... I wish I waited to let them decide. Because they have holes, but they don't like wearing earning.

DD got hers at 6 years. She'd been asking for a while. I'd planned to wait until she was 8 but we had some unhappy things going on and it was a good distraction. I also wanted her to want it done.

We pierced DD's ears at 4 months old but she was an ear rubber as an infant and they kept falling out. We took them out at 16 months and decided if she wants them when she's older she can get them re-pierced.

Both my girls had their ears pierced at 6 months old. I plan to do it at the same age with DD#3.

We just recently had DD1's ears pierced at 7.5 years old and it was at her request. It totally caught me off guard because she's such a scaredy-cat when it comes to those things.
I would imagine we'll do the same with DD2.
