How are we doing with our new diet changes/exercise routines?
For the past two weeks I've changed my eating habits and now working out early morning before breakfast. Im eating less carbs, increased fruits and veggies and my workout is a 20 minute Jillian michaels workout (great total workout). So far I lost 4 pounds :)
How is everyone else doing? What have you done and lost?

Good for you! I like those Jillian Michaels workouts, I might do one tomorrow.
I haven't seen movement on the scale in a couple of weeks but have seen measurements getting smaller. This is normal since I'm primarily weight training.
But AF is coming and I reeeeeally don't feel like working out when that's going on.

Re: How are we doing with our new diet changes/exercise routines?
3 Days into my Focus T-25 and healthier eating (Low carb, high fiber, more protein) and I feel better already. It's so cool how your body just runs better when you cut out the junk. I sure do miss it though.
This is what I have been doing. Am I missing anything? Should I do something different to see better results?
Breakfast: 1 Whole egg and egg white with 1/2 slice 2% cheese on top. Fiber One Multi-Grain English muffin w/ Flaxseed Smart balance.
Snack: Cup of coffee w/ a lil french Vanilla Creamer
Lunch: Either a Soybutter (Allergic to nuts) sandwich on multigrain thin or Tuna on same bread both with veggies on the side - Carrots, celery, etc
Snack: Cheese Stick or Hard Boiled Egg
Dinner: HUGE SALAD like 1/2 head lettuce with red peppers, carrots, cabbage, chick peas, cucumbers, sugar snap peas, onions With Grilled Chicken or Grilled Pork on top. Vinaigrette dressing
I try not to snack at night but if I am desperate, I'll have some air popped pop corn.
I drink about a gallon of water a day. Sometimes flavored seltzers as well.
So far I am cutting all fruit for 2 weeks then slowly introducing it back 1 portion at a time. I realized that even though it's better then potato chips, having 2 apples an orange and a banana a day was a lot of calories (400+ calories) for someone who sits at a desk most of the day.
Suggestions?
