Babysitting Rates??
We are leaving my son for the first time with a non-family member/babysitter for a few hours so DH and I can go out to dinner with some friends. The babysitter is a college student and will be watching my son who is just shy of 3. What is the going hourly rate?? I have no clue since we always use my in laws when we go out.

I pay $15 and if we are back after 2.5 hours I round it up to 3 hrs.

10-12 an hour and I always roundup if the hour has started they get the full hours pay
