Can only speak for Imaginations at play...we had my DD bday there and they were great! Friendly, and Clean!! I love all the different stations there!! They had a dress up station with a little stage, a shopping/Cooking station, A doll house and babydoll station! Then there is a watertable play area, sand box area. Then you go in the back where they have little bikes or cars to ride on, a soft mat area for little ones, a bouncy thing and the thing the crawl in with the slide. Cant wait to go back again. My dd wasnt feeling good for her bday so she didnt get to enjoy it like the rest of the kids.

I have only been to Imaginations, but I loved it there. Very clean and lots of different areas for the kids to explore. The jungle gym was not overwhelming to my DS and my little one loved the bounce area.
If you do, bring extra clothes with you for the water table. they provide smocks, but my DS still got soaked.

Imagination at Play vs Once upon a tree top
Been to both. Imaginations is half the price which is a big plus.
I happen to like the layout (of the building in general) at Treetop. I like that the play part is far in the back away from any exits. If a kid runs to the front to escape it's much harder to actually make it out.
At Imaginations on 2 different occasions I saw kids escape out the front door so EASILY. It's right there and goes right in to the parking lot. We happened to be there on very crowded days and it was a bit chaotic. I totally get that the kids are the responsibility of the adult that brought them and clearly these adults weren't nearly as focused on keeping their kid in sight as they should have been, but still. It just seems so easy to escape.

If your child is preschool age, you should check out Abby's Village Square. It's much smaller scale than other open play places and perfect for the little ones.http://www.abigailbottoms.com/village.htm
