six panel doors-what colored hardware?
Putting all new doors in our downstairs and trying to decide on what color hardware to get, gold or silver. Not sure if one tends to be ore popular then the other. If you have pictures, it would be appreciated (the doors will be white)

We have white six panel doors - they were here when we bought the house. We just replaced all the hardware last month (hinges, doorknobs, strike plates) and did brushed nickel.

LOL I don't love it either but my husband sort of does. Hoping I can persuade him the brushed nickel route

Gold is kind of 80's.
I have brushed nickel on all my doors. The doors are stained cherry, except for my front door which is just varnished over the natural wood.

I would go with whatever hardware you have elsewhere in your house.
Our house is pretty much 100% brushed nickel except some oil rubbed bronze fixtures we have in the bathroom we didn't renovate.

Color is a personal preference. I prefer brushed nickel or oil robbed bronze. Regardless of what color you choose, I would keep it uniform throughout the whole house. You said that you are changing all doors on the downstairs level, what color is the doorknobs on the 2nd floor? What color is the hardware in the kitchen, bathroom?

Thanks, I also like the brushed nickel or oil robbed bronze. The upstairs door hardware are all gold, but we will be changing that soon too. So not going to go by that LOL. The fixtures in our new downstairs bathroom will be brushed nickel so that door will match that, so thinking to keep it uniformed throughout the bottom with all the doors having the brushed nickel too?
