Kitchen-what's on your dream list?
My birthday is next week (woot!) and my Mom wants to get me a gift. I am thinking something for my kitchen, since we will be redoing it shortly, and I plan on replacing almost everything with the exception of our plates and flatware.
What would you ask for that you wouldn't necessarily buy for yourself? Keep it under 150$. Thanks!

Re: Kitchen-what's on your dream list?
I think it would depend on what you already have and how you like to cook.
I love my large Cuisinart food processor, my Kitchen Aid stand mixer, my Le Creuset Dutch ovens. But all of those are $150+ (But sometimes you can get deals on Le Creuset at places like TJ Maxx or Home Goods, and they have an outlet in Riverhead.
I like my Emile Henry baking dishes. I also love my Cuisinart mini chopper. I have a good cast iron skillet that I like to cook with. We also have an electric countertop griddle that is great for making eggs, pancakes, quesadillas, etc. I also like my immersion blender (the stick blender) for convenience when making sauces, soups, etc. I love the glass mixing bowls (nesting ones) I got from Williams-Sonoma years ago... I use them for prep all the time. I couldn't live without my slow-cooker, if you don't have one.
For more novelty type items - I love my waffle maker (from Williams-Sonoma), and I have an electric fondue pot that is fun for dinner parties. I have an ice cream maker, but I haven't really used it much. I have an electric citrus juicer that makes juicing a lot of lemons, limes, etc. very easy. So if you like to entertain and make a lot of cocktails at home, that could be a fun addition! I sometimes make large batches of things (sangria, pitchers of margaritas), and the juicer thing comes in handy.
I am thinking of upgrading to a better blender for smoothies and mixed drinks.

Kitchen-what's on your dream list?
Love my Keurig! I can't wait to NOT be pregnant so I can enjoy it again! Lol My Cuisinart mixer is one of my favorite appliances but they are more than $ 150. But told worth it. I got mine 8 years ago when we got married and I use it pretty often and use it basically all the time from nov-jan for the holidays.
I also have a nice Dutch oven that I love too.
