running group in babylon area?

does anyone know if there is a running group that meets regularly in the babylon area? or would you be interested in starting one? i work during the week, but would be interested in meeting on either saturday or sunday mornings to run.

I live in West Islip and have been trying to find out if any were in the area. I'd love that - my issue is that I run very early during the week (5am), so I know there are not many willing to go out that early - thankfully I have a friend who I run 1-2x during the week with at that hour. I would love to find a group locally that meets on Saturdays. If you hear anything, please post! I'd be interested in starting one, but my only challenge is that I can't start too late, I have 2 little ones and like to be home not long after they wake up.

where do you run during the week? i am NOT a morning person and find it hard to get up at 6 to get ready for work lol! BUT it would be so nice to get my run done earlier so that my afternoons would be less hectic. I wouldn't mind running early on the weekend, but 5 am might be stretching it. I also have two little girls, but I don't need to be home by the time they wake up ;)

I don't start at 5am on the weekends; unless I'm doing a really long run, I start between 6 and 6:30. During the week I either run through West Islip/Babylon area or stay in my neighborhood. My one friend sometimes meets me one or two mornings and we have a 4-mile loop we run in WI, but if I'm solo, I sometimes stay in my neighborhood so I can be near the house. It's always dark when I go out during the week. Looking forward to the early light later in spring.
