Ugg question...
After this winter, it became clear to me that I need new winter boots that keep my feet dry and warm. I found a pair of Uggs I like that are on sale. It says they are waterproof and they get good reviews for being comfortable and keeping feet warm and dry. It did state that although they are waterproof, the suede can stain from water, salt, etc. They are a little cheaper than the Sorels I like (also great reviews). Is there something I can apply to the suede so it won't stain? Or should I just go for the Sorels? I don't want to get stuck next winter without good boots again so I have to buy now. TIA.

Re: Ugg question...
If you are looking for snow type boots- I wouldn't do Uggs- I'd do the Sorels. I hear the Uggs are never the same once they get wet.

Thanks for your response.
Even the boots that are waterproof? Basically, the water does not get inside the boot but could possibly stain the outside (just like any suede) so I'm wondering if a water-repellent spray would be enough to prevent the staining.

Ugg question...
Love my uggs. During winter it's all I wear. When there is snow I throw on my hunter boots with socks or a really old pair of uggs I kept just for this reason. Just use the spray to waterproof and don't wear them in nasty rainy/snowy weather and you'll be fine.
If you want everyday, get the uggs. Snow boots aren't for everyday use.
