Do you know this dog? Dog Found in Wantagh
He was found yesterday 3/12/14
AS POSTED ON MY FB:
My son found this dog today on Sunrise Hwy near the Wantagh Pkwy entrance. He brought the dog to the animal shelter in Wantagh on Beltagh Ave. Please share.

Oh my goodness. I can't imagine how scare he was on that road. Glad someone stopped and picked him up.
 that he finds his way home.

Tell your friend to tell Lost and Found Pets in Long Island on Facebook. They are a wonderful resource!
Rescue groups can be very helpful too.
Do you know if the dog was scanned for a microchip?

This was a friend of a friend of a friend kinda thing. Shared multiple times. I posted it a few places.
She has since written that she made her son go pick him up and bring him home. Shelter has all info incase the family goes looking for him. She's afraid bc he's old if they leave him there and nobody claims him, he'll be put down.

What a great person. I would be worried about the same.
Doggie looks old to me. Poor thing. So glad this person found him. Hopefully he finds his home.
