Re: Walking Dead tonight, who's excited? *Spoilers!*
Lizzie was a sick kid! Poor Mika... They had to put her down, she even said Judith was next. Judith wasn't safe as long as Lizzie was around. Was there any storyline about Lizzie's stability before the apocalypse? I know about the flowers. Just wondering.
Tyreese was carrying Judith on his back at the end, but I did have to rewind to see it because the backpack looked empty.

Walking Dead tonight, who's excited? *Spoilers!*
I think she did the right thing. I honestly had a harder time thinking about her stabbing mika in the head even though she was dead, than thinking about her killing Lizzie. Very sad episode

Re: Walking Dead tonight, who's excited? *Spoilers!*
This may sound morbid, but since Lizzy was so hung up on the fact that she thought walkers wanted friends too and tried to show that by killing her sister and hoping to "play" with her again upon return as a walker, I think that she deserved watching her sister turn and then get eaten alive by her!!!
Back to last week's episode....who do you think kidnapped Beth?

I can't see how Carol had a choice on killing Lizzie. In her own words, she was going to do Judith NEXT.
Screw that. She killed her sister & was irreparably broken.

Agreed. Judith (or anyone else) was never going to be safe as long as Lizzie was alive and Carol recognized that.
Poor Mika It was definitely a difficult episode to watch.

Walking Dead tonight, who's excited? *Spoilers!*
I wanted Lizzie gone badly, but I caught myself tearing up at the end of the episode when Carol shot her. The girl was just so distraught and begging forgiveness, that it broke my heart. She was so sick, and yes, shooting her like she was a rabid dog in the back of the head was absolutely terrible, to the point where it made me so upset I thought about turning off the tv. I'm not sure where I lay with Carol and my feelings towards her. Honestly, I was hoping they'd let Mika turn and then let Lizzie "play" with her, and just left her there to be with her sister. Girl was so delusional that I don't think she would have minded turning.
And Judith was on his back, even if the pack looked empty. She probably wasn't really in there (the baby that plays her, that is) bc shooting scenes with babies are hard enought already. They probably just had a small dummy in there for shape.

Even though Lizzie was apologizing, she still didn't get it. She was apologizing for the wrong thing. She was saying I'm sorry for pointing the gun at you, not sorry I killed my sister. Carol saw that and did what she had to do. It was definitely hard to watch a child be executed.

What a disturbing episode. Normally Lizzie would have been institutionalized, medicated, and/or in jail for most of her life. That system doesn't exist anymore and she was sure to kill again. Carol had no choice,

I get that, and I get that she had no idea what she did was wrong, but she just kept saying sorry over and over - regardless to me what she was actually sorry about- and it broke my heart. She was a troubled kid before he outbreak and obviously living in this world made her snap. Carol did what was right for her and the people she was traveling with, but what was right in general - executing a child? I can't get down with that. I personally would have much rather seen them leave her with Mika and let the sisters be together, tied up or whatever, as walkers. But that's me.
Obviously the episode has a ton of different reactions to it because of how "controversial" it was.
In the long run, I'm happy Lizzie is gone. I got chills every time they left Judith with her.

EXACTLY! Lizzie had to die. Otherwise, Carol and Tyrese would've had to deal with watching their back every second because she was mentally gone and would've definitely killed innocent people again. She killed her sister and was going to kill Judith too I they hadn't shown up when they did. Glad Carol shot her!

Re: Walking Dead tonight, who's excited? *Spoilers!*
Wow what an episode!! I knew it was Lizzie feeding the rats to the walkers at the prison. I always said to myself that she was too unstable and a threat to all of them so yes, she had to go. I agree with what Carol did, Lizzie killed her own sister and the only thing she apologized for was pointing the gun at Carol. If they kept her around she would have killed Judith and both Carol and Tyrese too, if not by a weapon then by leading walkers to them.

Walking Dead tonight, who's excited? *Spoilers!*
I was glad Carol shot Lizzie. It was absolutely the right thing to do. She was extremely dangerous. She MURDERED her little sister!! She was as much of a threat as the Governer, I think.
I was so nervous about Carol telling Tyreese the truth and happy he forgave her. I knew he wouldn't kill her, he always had a thing against killing. On Talking Dead they discuss how if she had confessed in the woods that first time, the outcome may have been different and I agree with that. I think him seeing her eliminate Lizzie because she was a threat to the group as a whole made him realize she would do anything she had to to keep everyone safe.

Re: Walking Dead tonight, who's excited? *Spoilers!*
I understand that Lizzie had to die... But the fact that Carol could do it......basically shoot her in cold blood... Speaks volumes for where Carol's mind is at. I think she has gone too far and has lost too much humanity. This is the 3rd person Carol had killed "for the good of the group." I think she's going to be a problem if the group ever reunites.
Remember the teenager in s2 that Rick and Hershel saved and then tried to let go, but he knew too much and he basically had to be killed...but Rick couldn't do it... ( abs Shane took matters into his own hands) They had a " trial" and vote with everyone before making any decisions...And he was older and running with bad people ...Carol shot a child in the back of the head...and didn't seem too conflicted about it.
I'm not saying Lizzie could have become a functioning member of the group, but I think there were other ways they could have handled it...

I get what you're saying. Yes, Rick is more diplomatic, but IMO not a great leader. He sits on things indecisively long enough for a problem to fester and grow bigger than it had to be if he just did what needed to be done in the first place. He wavers so long that other people end up taking over the situation. Not the mark of a good leader.
Carol has changed so much since season 1. Losing Sophia the way she did changed her. She could have crawled in a hole and given up. Instead, she is much stronger now, which is both good and bad. She doesn't hesitate to make tough decisions (which I don't always agree with IMO, but someone has to do what needs to be done.) Living in this kind of survival mode changes people. The rules of humanity go out the window. They end up doing things they never would have before (such as the governor).
The group is essentially no more, for the rest of this season at least. No need for votes. Tyreese was on board with Lizzie's fate.

Tyrese was carrying her on his back.
Ahh okay. I rewound it over and over, trying to see if she was being held/being worn...I didn't notice this. Thanks!
yes, it took a while to get that too. First I thought something happen to her, then SO said she was on Tyreese back. I was so relieved.

I think that Tyrese HAD to forgive Carol because he obviously consented to killing Lizzie because she was a threat to people....this is the SAME reason Carol killed the other two people back at the prison. I think he, while not happy about it, understood why she did it, therefore he forgave her. That episode was so sick, but I get it. There are no rules in the apocalypse.

I wish Carol would have shot Lizzie in her sleep but I get they have to be more dramatic for TV.

I don't think so. It Talking Dead, Carol said she killed Karen and the other person because they begged for it. There was no way Tyrese was going to be able to kill Lizzie, so Carol had to do it.

Hmm...I missed Talking Dead, and missed her say they were begging for it...that changes things a little...I don't particularly like Carol, so I think I'm biased against her. Lol.

I'm getting annoyed with the jumpiness of this season. I'm glad Maggie, Sasha, bob and Glenn are back together. I'm pissed we have not heard a thing about Beth. No updates last night on carol and tyrese. I hate the guys Darryl is with, I can't believe he's saying with them. And terminus, ummm yeah. Something seems way off with Mary!

Meeeee Tooooooo!!! I was convinced Glenn wasn't making it out of that cave alive! I was so bummed. Then when Maggie showed up I was SO happy! I love them & love Glenn!!
I thought it was a good episode. Kinda creepy that those guys are hunting Rick...and Daryl just went w/them not even trying to find Beth...
And Terminus looks like a bad idea! Creeeeepy!

I think Daryl hooking up with these guys was a necessity as he had no water and no food when they found him. He was running after the car that took Beth all night long. He was in no shape to look for her by himself. If we learned anything from these past 4 seasons no one can survive on their own. He is using them obviously while trying to figure out his next steps. Also I was sure these guys were the same Rick encountered in the house, so its working out amazingly for Rick, Michone and Carl that Daryl is now with these guys. Otherwise their fate would be as the guy from last night - beaten to death and arrowed thru the brain.
Terminus is def a cult. Both me and DH think that it was them who took Beth and had that house Beth and Daryl were staying at set up as a trap. Very similar orderliness was to both Terminus and the house.
Cant wait to see whether they all meet again by the end of last episode.
Oh and Glenn kicks ass. Just love this character. Him and Maggie reuniting was def emotional
