That's because there shouldn't be an issue. And when Julianne Hough dressed up for Halloween there shouldn't have been an issue. And this time it shouldn't be an issue either. The only thing that bothers me about it is that it was a HUGE deal when Juliane did it but many people are overlooking this. It's all or nothing folks.

I don't even understand how anyone cares about this or the other girl that painted her face black. Who cares! Everyone is always looking for something to b*tch and be offended about! Neither of these "stunts" phase me in the slightest.

"Blackface" has a historical context that Nick Cannon's stunt does not have. That being said, IMHO, the uproar over the DWTS's chick coloring her skin in a costume for "Crazy Eyes" was overboard.

I really don't understand why he would even think of doing this. It's clearly offensive as is the title of his album. What would make him think this would be received well???

None of this is offensive, we live in such a serious world. It's all in good fun. I am happy he is getting crap for it though after what happened with Julianne.

I agree, I don't find it offensive at all (but I'm not at all easy to offend) HOWEVER, I will say that he just looks a$$ ugly and NOT at all white.

I always forget that was him!
But White Chicks were super creepy...
I don't think it's racist, but I don't think black face paint is racist either. Or Asian face paint like on that episode of How I Met Your Mother. I think everyone is far too sensitive (not on this board, I mean in general.)
