i think i might have a job waiting for me!!
a friend in LA who has a small business saw that i'm heading west.
he told me that he's at the tipping point: it's too much work for him that he's actually had to turn away a few orders and asked if i'd be willing to work for him until i get settled and/or he finds someone permanent.
he said he's ok in waiting until i get there. he was honest and told me i won't be getting rich from that job, but it will be enough so that i don't have to stay at my dad's any longer than is utmost necessary!
woo hoo! a living wage and i haven't even gotten there yet!

That's great. It will take a lot of stress off of you initially, since you'll have some income, and it's always easier looking for a job when you have a job.
