6.5 mile race and 45-50 degree weather: what to wear?
I have a 1/4 marathon race tomorrow at 10. It should be between 45the and 50the degrees. The route is mostly shaded and pretty hilly. I'm always cold when I'm not exercising, but get hot and sweaty pretty easily when running. If it was a 5k, I'm sure I'd be fine in a light long sleeve shirt and capri running pants, but since it's a longer race, I was debating whether to wear short sleeves and be really cold at the beginning. What do you recommend wearing?

I've never done a 1/4 marathon before!
I was doing hill repeats on Tuesday evening and it was about the same temperature when I got started. I was wearing a long sleeve lightweight tech shirt. I'd probably wear something light with long sleeves you can push up if you get hot. If it were a bit warmer, I'd even say a tshirt and arm warmers.

A 1/4 marathon is more or less a 10K. I would wear shorts and a short sleeve dry fit. If it was windy, I might wear a long sleeve dry fit shirt.
