My Dh went with skydive LI.... He loved it... The instructor he jumped with (not sure name but he has crazy hair lol) was very experienced and very popular... I've seen him on numerous reality shows

Also look into The Ranch upstate. Its only about 2 hours away. That is where I did it and they were great!

I've jumped with Skydive Long Island out in Calverton.
They offer the highest jump on the island, 13,500 feet and have the nicest facility. I actually checked out all the places on the island because I used them for a charity fundraiser and felt they had the nicest facility.

Thanks for the info. This is not for me, but for DH. This is something he wants to do, so I am thinking of surprising him for his birthday! I will definitely check it out!

There's a skydiving center across the street from me in East Moriches...I know a lot of people that use them. My kids LOVE watching the planes go up over our house and seeing the jumpers. They can even yell to them...
But no I would never I'm too scared lol!

DH did it at the calverton one (there is LI SkyDive and Sky Dive LI, I can't remember which is which!).
They go the highest around from what I hear... he loved it.
We both did it in Aruba also and it was AMAZING. Not as high, but you can't beat the view!

Pretty sure you are describing Duncan. Everyone that has went with him had great things to say!
